A local man was arrested after police said he crashed his vehicle into a family’s garage on the city’s southeast side.
William Kise, 41, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving.
At approximately 10:13 p.m. Thursday, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the crash in the 7900 block of Cross Willow Blvd. The homeowner, Mark Higgins, told authorities he was home watching the Colts game with his wife, Rachel, and their four children, when he heard the crash.
When Higgins went outside to see what was going on, he discovered a 2004 Mustang GT in his garage. Police said the crash’s impact was so hard that it pushed the family’s two vehicles to the other side of the garage.
